Official keys
The experience description prints this layout:

The description does not print movement keys, camera, jump, or the Utility binding. Read those prompts in the live HUD. On touch controls, the same five skills are buttons along the bottom, and a basic attack is reported on tap.
What the slots tend to be
Community control notes call slot 1 the usual basic melee, a bite or a swipe, and call slot 5 the ultimate. That is a pattern, not a promise for every kaiju. Kiryu is the concrete case: Update 45 set Absolute Zero Cannon, its slot 5, at up to 3,750 damage with a 100-second cooldown, raised from 44 seconds. On a kit like that, pressing 5 without a target spends the fight.
Godzilla Ultima is the official exception you can plan around. Attack 1 and Attack 3 change when the Attack bar is over 100. Attack 5 reduces damage taken by 10 percent while it charges. Utility at a full bar becomes a mist storm. The Ultima guide splits those tests.
Roars
The official labels are only Roar 1 and Roar 2. Community notes go further: R is the stationary roar, T is the moving roar, and attacks cannot be used during a roar. They also say a roar does not apply a buff, a debuff, or a taunt effect beyond the animation. You are visible and unable to hit back for those seconds.
Roar after a fight is already over, or on a quiet island such as Forest or Thailand. In a crowded Tokyo server the same animation is long enough to lose a fight you were winning.
A five-minute drill
- Walk a circle around one landmark and move the camera while you walk.
- Press each numbered skill with no target, then once against the same target.
- Press R while standing, then T while moving. Wait until you can attack again.
- Find the Attack bar, the Utility bar, and any Charge stat on the kaiju you spawned as.
- Repeat the drill after you buy a new kaiju. The same key is a different commitment on another body.
