Names you can look for
Community map notes checked September 26, 2026 describe five areas. The official description does not print this list. Update 52 adds "a new island" and does not name it, so the spawn menu can contain a sixth label or a renamed one.
| Area | Anchor | Practical use |
|---|---|---|
| Tokyo | Skyline, avenues, coast | Most buildings, most fights |
| Forest | Coast, clearings, tree line | Trees pay Cells and XP, fewer players |
| Isla De Mara | Volcano and shore | Open slopes plus a city |
| San Francisco | Bridge ends | Landmark and a choke point |
| Thailand | Full shoreline | Smaller search, quieter roars |
Build a loop that survives a remodel
Pick one start you cannot confuse with the next block: a bridge end, a volcano face, a sharp coast corner, or the edge of the dense city. Walk clockwise around the shore until you return to that start. Then sweep the interior in one order: outer streets, a main clearing or road, then the center.
Destroyed buildings change the street and do not change the skyline. After Update 52, compare the spawn list with this table before you follow an old video pin.
Match the island to the job
Learn a new skill on open ground, where the animation is visible. Move into streets or trees only after you know the recovery. For Cells, time Tokyo's buildings against Forest's trees instead of assuming a hidden bonus. For skulls, Forest is easier to scan and Tokyo hides objects. The bridge on San Francisco is a poor place to practice, because other players hold the same span.
If you cannot tell where you are, go to the water and read the silhouette: bridge, volcano, city, or trees. If a fight blocks the path, break toward open water and restart the loop at the last landmark you still recognize.
